Pour une dynamique créative en traduction

Translation has long been regarded as an instrument of intercultural communication, an instrument that would be on an equal footing with the multilingual situations evoked by Jean René Ladmiral in a 2006 article in these words : " considering basic intercultural communication, it can be noted that there has always been quite a number of people, even illiterate people, who spend their whole lives in a multilingual situation. For them " translation " (lato sensu) is everyday reality ". This article aims at developing the opposite view and considering translation as an artistic production. It will not consider exchanges as acts of appropriation, but as places of simple discoveries, as occasions of transcultural contributions, which will lead to interventions on initial hierarchies with the help of the language-cultures. Most of all, behind all this there is a creative force at work.
