Exact controllability of scalar conservation laws with strict convex flux

We consider one space dimension scalar conservation law with strict convex flux. The problem is to study exact controllability of entropy solutions. Some partial results have been obtained in [17] and we investigate the precise condi- tions under which exact controllability problem admits a solution. The basic ingredients in the proof of these results are [14], Lax-Oleinik [12] explicit for- mula and finer properties of generalized characteristics introduced by Dafermos [11].
