Le cycle de l'eau de l'aérien au souterrain : voyage des isotopes

This report focused on the use of isotopes systematics (strontium, neodymium, lead, boron...) in environmental studies and more particularly along the water cycle Circulations and interactions of water, either surficial or deep with bedrocks are better known by using the geochemistry and specifically by isotopes tracing. Several examples in different regions in France and Europe illustrate the studies presented hereafter. These studies mainly focused on strontium, neodymium, and lead isotopes and for each, the natural or anthropogenic origin of the element, their behavior, their transport in different compartments (e.g dissolved and / or particulate form for rivers), circulation patterns of groundwater or deep saline fluids, interactions between water and different types of rocks can be discussed. Practically, this compilation is organized into three distinct parts and covering the three main stages of the water cycle: precipitation, surface water, groundwater.
