Multiculturalism: a geographical essay on cultural diversity in modern societies

This is a three-part essay on multiculturalism. The first part question the possibility of studying culture in a scientific maner. It ends with a general methodology, which is applied to the study of multiculturalism. The second is a study of difference and cultural diversity in North America. The third one focus on a multicultural place: that is the metropolitan area encompassed by Miami-Dade (in South Florida).
