A Multi-Layer Model for building interactive graphical applications

Describes a software architecture for designing and implementing interactive graphical applications where the management of graphics and interaction is describes with conceptual layers. This approach enhances modularity both for the graphics part and for the interaction. It also highlights and describes the management of transient graphical objects that are used in multiple applications but never explicitly described in designs and models of interactive graphical applications.
