Modélisation et Commande de structures FACTS : (Flexible Alternative CUITent Transmission System) Application au STATCOM (STATic COMpensator)

FACTS project (Flexible Aller'lative CUITent Transm.ission System) \Vas born to ameliorale the Power System Net\vork flexibility problems. The STATCOM (STATic COMpensator) is a FACTS device dedicated for reactive power compensation which tran sit in the power network . Power electronics components ev.olution has bring technologie re sponses to 'hc STATCOM structure inverters conception. Aner" having several structures presented, dynamic model is tuncd \Vith the generalized a,,'er;tged modelling m'ethod . This one is validated with the topological 'model tL9.t descrïoes the real inverter behaviour. A non-linear control law is tune to have a reactive CUITent robust behaviour, and is based on the lincmization Vid feedback theory . The robustness is obtained 10 the detriment inveI1er active current and continuous voltage dynamic behaviours. An optimization of the line arization via reedback control law is purposed to control ail dynamic behaviours variables. This control law is validate \Vith the topological mode! after studies measuring filters' problem. Putting into place lineari zation via feedback controller need to know the inverler structure componenls value. An est imation and a correct ion of these error values are purposed . The STATCOi\'l model and its control law are implanted in a dynamic power system studies software (EUROSTAG). Generalized AVèf3ge model takes account of the in verter dynan1.ics behaviours and give some transient infornwtion 10 the power system net\Vork studies. More, the inlerest 10 use an optimjzed lineari zation via k edb ack conlfoll er is compared ta classical contralkr.
