Hiring. Sociological approach of recruitment practices in private sector.

The thesis examines the recruitment practices in the private sector, considering hiring as a total social fact. The materials result from investigations carrying into the announcements of job offers, from employers and candidates to employment. The results show that the recruitment procedures do not only aim at selecting, but they operate a mise-en-scene of the social value of the candidates through the représentations of employers.
