Intentional selection of services according to non-functional requirements of business agents

The intentional service is described by the business goal that the service achieve. The users thus carry out a discovery, directed by the goals, of the services corresponding to their functional requirements. The atomic service is achievable by software services, whereas the aggregate service introduced a variability, by describing the various alternatives making it possible to achieve the goal of the service. The description of the intentional service is extended to the quality (QoiS-Quality of intentional Service), which can be simple QoiS associated to the atomic service or global QoiS corresponding to the aggregate service. Simple QoiS is defined as the quality goals which the atomic service makes it possible to satisfied. QoiS thus makes it possible to establish the correspondence between the not-functional requirements of the users and the software services quality. In order to deal with the business variability of the intentional service, the dependences constraints between services are defined. They make it possible to specify that the choice of one alternative can require or exclude the choice another alternative. To improve the quality consensus, the quality referential is proposed. This one is used by the provider to describe the quality of their services, and by the users to describe their not-functional requirements. The multi-criteria decision method TOPSIS is adapted to select among the aggregate services, or executable configurations, those correspond to the quality context of the user. Also, tools are proposed to prove the feasibility of the selection method suggested.
