After the emergence of the touristic phenomena on the XVIIIth century the XXIst century makes us face a true transformation of it. This new reality is the result of various politics and socials facts as the globalization. Despite more time given to leisure which has never been so important the average duration passed in the destination has paradoxically decreased and this despite an increase in terms of number of stays. Several researches have been done in the way to identify facts leading to a destination choice and to discover what encourage people to move to an elementary place (as station or touristic city) even when very little things have been realized for tourists' travels during their stay in a regional dimension. Otherwise this data is often unappreciated or not very considered by the tourism professionals or also politics who have not ever a general approach on their own territory on travelers stay. So this thesis proposes to investigate on spatial practices of regional dimension of tourism actors. In a geographical approach of tourism we have tried to define what is a "touristic region" thenwe have investigated the field with several tourism actors in the heart of three laboratoryspaces which are: The "Geneva Lake", the "Loire castles" and the "Emerald Coast". By the end we have analyzed different types of moves and places toured by tourists which by a reticular reading allowed us a better understanding of spatial practices of regional dimension.
