High power laser matter interaction: Micro machining and laser induced damage using nanosecond lasers

This document describes the different positions I held since my diploma work (master-work). All research subjects are centered on "laser - matter interaction". The document starts with a detailed curriculum vitae (section 1). Section 2 and 3 present my list of publications and the list of persons I instructed, respectively. Section 4 summarizes my teaching experiences and responsibilities. Most important, section 5 describes in some detail the research activities during my last two positions: as R&D engineer working on the water-jet guided laser, and as assistant professor working on laser induced damage. Finally, section 6 gives a short idea of future research projects and the appendix presents a selection of publications that are representative for my work on the different subjects.
