This study deals with thermal convection present in all its diversity in geophysical systems. This example is presented in different envelopes internal of the Earth. Indeed, the system "Earth" involves, in addition to a purely thermal convection, one or more additional ingredients. in the core, the solidification of the seed releases and maintains a light elements convection thermo-solute. The convection then take a particular form due to the rotation of the Earth. The instability could also affect tides these movements. In the mantle is probably one involving convection fluids of different properties that takes place. Finally, during the formation of Earth, iron droplets were sedimented in a convective flow of material formed less dense. It is therefore in the broadest sense we should take the word "heterogeneous" title. in this study, convection refers to heterogeneous thermal convection which is add one or more ingredients.
