Evaluation and optimization of the handover in a wireless local area network dedicated to time constrained trafic applications

This work environment for industrial applications where mobile communicate via a wireless LAN. We developed a platform where mobile IEEE802.11 working through a network in infrastructure mode, the communications are performed via access points (AP) which mobiles are affiliated. Each AP manages an area called a cell, the mobile will be moving from one cell to another and join different AP. This mechanism, called Handover generates traffic management, which will disturb the traffic of mobile collaboration, and has a cost in time during which the mobile will be isolated from the network. These effects can be disastrous in applications where time is critical. We offer effective solutions that act on the research phase of a new AP, which reduce traffic management and handover which can be supplemented by the addition of a second network interface on each mobile
