This work is interested in modelling for the design of switched reluctance motors. In a first part, we give our approach of the problem of design, then we define the three great types of models which the designer in electrical engineering will be brought to meet. Lastly, we présent various methods of design of switched reluctance motors which were implemented. In one second part, we présent a methodology allowing to integrate semi-analytical models in a process of gradient type optimisation : the calculus boxes. We présent those which we created, then an example of their application to the design of a switched reluctance motor of traditional type. We présent in the third part the modelling for design of a new type switched reluctance motor. After a présentation of the structure of such an engine, we présent an analytical model of it, then a digital model, both modular. Lastly, the complementarity which exists between thèse two models helps us to propose a dimensioning method.
