Pancoast-Tobias tumours were first described in 1932. Their frequency stays low, 3% of bronchial cancers. First efficient treatment is related in 1956, since, in spite of the development of combined treatments, is still controverted. This retrospective study from 1992 to 2004 has evaluated the treatments received by 71 patients suffering from Pancoast-Tobiast tumours in the frame of thoracic oncologist group from Clermont-Ferrand. The comparison of different treatments let us conclude that chirurgy, whenever possible, stays the best treatment, if the exerese is possible.
