Policy paradigm and shift in educational institutions. The case of a non-Western society: Thailand [in French]

This thesis explored how Thai educational policies have been affected by an external pattern, a policy paradigm in terms of educational institutions. It underlined that core elements are transferred within the transnational scape and help towards achieving educational policies that look similar. However, most of the time only keywords are transferred to the national arena; they are appropriated in a hybrid way by actors and institutions of the national scape to support their own interests. The thesis showed how important path dependency and domination processes are in national but also international and transnational spaces.
