Resonances for the transmission problem and in linear elasticity

We study the distribution of the resonances for the transmission problem aswell as for the system of the linear elasticity. In the case of thetransmission problem, we prove the existence of a sequence of resonances ofoptimal density rapidly approaching the real axis. For the Dirichletproblem in the linear elasticity we prove the absence of resonances undersuitable cubic parabolas in the upper half-plane.
