This text questions the digital edition as research highlighting and support for processual character, unstable production of texts. Our thinking is part of the movement that led to the development of devices and collaborative tools for editing, filtering, tracking, aggregating relevant, not only documents, and resources, but also of partial preservation of traces of critical work of (re)-reading and (re)-writing. This movement is, for example, popularized through the experience of Wikipedia. We are now in a phase of expansion and differentiation of these models.
