A Grid Workflow Manager for Mid-/small VOs

We developed a light-weight framework for generic experiments, which focuses on basic functionalities, designed specifically for organizations that cannot afford to use the more specialized HEP frameworks but require an easy-to-use interface to the grid [1]. The initial release of the framework was based on a simplified job workflow, which required the submission of new jobs in case of failures. Moreover each job of some kind was supposed to use the same input file set and the seed of random number generator was automatically assigned by the system to the jobs. The updated software suite described in this work includes a job resubmission feature and the option to have a one-to-one relationship between job and input file. Both features can be enabled by the user, independently each other. This work will describe in details the main characteristics of the developed framework, focussing on the new features.
