Four memoirs on differents aspects of the dyeing of woolcloth produced for exportation to the Levant, by the director of the Royal Manufacture of Bize (Languedoc) around 1763, illustrated with 177 samples of dyed broadcloth. All the pages with samples are published as colour plates. Historical introduction and historical and technical comments by D. Cardon. Publication of the colorimetric measurements in the CIEla*b system of all samples by Iris Brémaud and of the dye analyses by Witold Nowik.
