The relationship between migration and development has taken a special interest since the late 90s, a period in which the new concept of co-development is adopted. The interpretation by the political class of states receiving migrants, however, continues to maintain a sterile perception of unidirectional North-South development. Therefore, this article analyzes the possibility of designing the migration processes as development for both host countries and in countries of origin, from the relationship that occurs between immigrant women and autochthonous women in Spain, in an action to interpret migration and development in a multidirectional way.
