At the death of Queen Hatshepsut in the year 20-21 of the reign of Tuthmosis III, the king completes several unfinished projects in his own name and opens a series of new projects between year 21 and 25 (mainly in the temple of Karnak: temple of Ptah; Akh-menu; obelisks in front of the 4th pylon). This article focuses on a reconsideration of the architectural activity of this period and the concurrent association of a new epithet associated with the name of King, ḥqȝ mȝʿ(t), which may be linked to the end of the sharing of of kingship between Tuthmosis III and Queen Hatshepsut for twenty years.
