Imprenta, criollismo y santidad. Los tratados hagiográficos sobre venerables, siervos de Dios y beatos novohispanos

In New Spain hagiography was manifested as a widespread genre since the sixteenth century, although it was not until the seventeenth and eighteenth newest paid off. This paper is concerned with individualized hagiography, ie the "lives" of men and women individuals whose actions merited prominent treated separately and not as part of a chronicle.
