Chiffrage de l'emploi dans les organisations de l'économie sociale en France : une analyse critique

This paper aims to review the limits and shortcomings of the statistics available to public stakeholders in the identification of employment in non profit sector. Initially, we will use the available data to distinguish non profit organisations' employment from standard one. That sector, producing services in occupations involving interactive care mostly employ women and use massively part time. In a second step, we show how that specificities hinder the construction of statistics : duration attached to care activities and uncertainty about the qualifications required make it difficult to produce statistics.
