Le concept de situation chez Roman Ingarden et l'idée d'une esthétique phénoménologique

Ingarden defines the aesthetic phenomenon as a particular type of encounter between man and world, anticipating thus the ontological theories of work of art as "event". From within his holistic consideration of the aesthetic encounter, he initially selects the concept of "situation" as most closely corresponding to the immediate intuition of this encounter as it effectively unfolds. The article also considers Ingardens top down phenomenological method.
