North America's prospects: a Mexamerica?

The first part of this chapter develops the elements that seem to validate the prospects of "mexamerica", i.e. a North America increasingly matched by Mexicans in Mexico and people of Mexican origin in the other two countries, which could no longer be apprehended without considering this Mexican dimension. by studying, on the one hand, quantitative elements and, on the other, qualitative elements linked to the former. In the second part, the author asks whether other developments belie such "mexamerica" perspectives. The conclusion offers a synthesis.
