Les enjeux de la construction participative d'indicateurs de bien-être

This paper is dedicated to methodologic issues related to indicators construction for sustainable territorial welfare. These new indicators could be used to create knowledge and also be helpful for public decision and its reconstruction. On the basis of an empiric study and in order to evaluate the diversity of life experiences and people well-being perceptions, three methods will be combined. The first method that will be used is a quantitative questionnaire survey, qualitatives interviews will be done as a second method and the last method will be a participatory approach. The aim is to mix different form of knowledge in order to create a new one on this subject that could be useful for public policies. By exploring the limits of quantification and considering an alternative action theory, this paper seeks to develop a methodological and theoretical framework background needed for such study.
