Faire une histoire intellectuelle, sociale et politique de la " médecine mentale " : l'exemple des " Aliénistes et psychologues " en Seine-Inférieure entre 1825 et 1908

An original alienist movement set up in "Lower Seine" with the creation of the departemental public asylum of Saint-Yon in 1825 and the opening of the agricultural colony of the Quatre-Mares in 1853-1854. Those "laboratories" of "physiological" and "social pathologies" welcame hundreds of insane women and men put by families or confined by order of mayors and the prefect.
