Noting the matter of otherness as a present decree, the altermondialist mobilisation of social forums makes a great difference with gone social and political movements. Its uniqueness is produced by its practical mind and culture, not by its sociology. Its subjective oneness does not depend on an enduring organisation neither a clear programme, but on some shared paradigms. That is the matter of an investigation inside the altermondialist mobilisation (and not only about it). That is its reach : an ethnology of mondialisation /globalization which both mean a reconsideration of paradigms and concepts for politics as for social sciences. The mode of historicity of this "possible other world" and the way to build a political community acquaint us by the most original way about this famous matter of globalization.
