Abstract : Members of Parliament and Environment During the last twenty years, many researches have been conducted in France and in the UE about public attitudes towards environment. But we don not know much about attitudes of political representatives. The aim of this study is to make up for this gap. A survey has been conducted among a sample of 200 French Members of Parliament : how do they judge passed policies, how do they feel about some crucial issues (greenhouse effect, economic growth, nuclear energy, etc.), what policies are judged as being priorities for the future. The main results of this survey are related here for the entire sample and according to political preferences and demographics (gender, age, etc.). Daniel Boy
