Scénariser les possibles énergétiques. Les gaz de schiste dans la matrice des futurs

In this paper, we analyse the conflict around hydraulic fracturing (shale gas) from the point of view of scenarios of the future. Energy issues have long been at the heart of economic models, driving together foresights, promises and prophecies. Forms of protest and frictions reveal contrasting visions of the future which emerge from a continuous production of conjectures about energy issues. Do the different actors share the same space of calculation and reasoning on the question of the finiteness of resources (oil in particular)? We start from the assumption, widely shared today, that the emergence of shale gas has contributed to an updating of the multiple energetic scenarios.
