This work of introductory character on methodological tools for the technological evaluation we will analyze aspects related to the studies in futurology. First, we will centre on the definitions of scientific prediction and technological futurology. Secondly, we will mention to some problems relative to the futurology and at the rate of significance of terms like it uses it at present. The major difficulties in the boarding of the topic guard relation with the multiplicity of definitions (futurology, forecast, planning, etc.), since also in the contexts of use (method or tool).
