In the present woek we will analize the coexistence of pratical communities in science and technology from the 17 th century. The above mentioned groups will be delimited bearing in mind the logical terms of class applied to profession. In science, the domain remains shaped by the class of the astronomers didicated to the theoretical-practical development of the astronomy and the geometric optics. In technology, our community remains defined by the class of the technologist dedicated to the construction of instruments and to the use of materials used in optics. We refer to the class of the glassworkers. Both communities seem to converge and to be articulated in the methodological and ontologist commitments of type shared by the tradition of investigation mechanicist. In the development of the work too mentioned terms that technology transfer and transfer that technology, or intoduced the distintion how that and how know relationed with the visión of the coexist between science and technology
