The documents presented in this book are due to Edouard Bourciez. E Bourciez had given to translate in their local language the parabola of "The prodigal son" to all the teachers of the academy of Bordeaux, whether it is out of Basque or Gascon. This was held in the last of the 19th century. The translations out of Basque are given only here, i.e. the 150 versions collected in the French Basque Country. In this chapter, one finds the dictionnary of the Basque texts. For that it was necessary to prepare the list of the words of each text, to unify all these lists, to complete the lemmatization of the variations which appeared in this unified list.
